POSITION TITLE: Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Country Manager
POSITION: Full-time, Permanent
LOCATION: Doha, Qatar

JOB PURPOSE
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining key accounts and serving as the main point of contact for all related matters. The Project Manager will focus on delivering exceptional service while handling spreadsheets, audits, and various analytic sales software to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships. The goal is to move the business forward through effective project management and customer service.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

  • Provide on-site technical assistance for fishing, remedial, and thru-tubing operations, both planned and unplanned.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and needs, including QHSE issues, audits, and technical/operational matters.
  • Maintain and share organizational charts for client accounts with internal teams.

  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.

  • Ensure accurate records are kept for client accounts, including contract updates and renewals.

  • Manage a job database to provide timely feedback on performance in specific areas or periods.

  • Collaborate with the sales team and internal departments to develop and execute strategic marketing plans, ensuring KPIs are met.

  • Work with teams to create comprehensive job proposals, incorporating technical analysis from available software.

  • Gain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Organize and present workshops, seminars, and presentations to potential and existing clients, addressing their needs and generating new business.

  • Represent the company at forums, conventions, and exhibitions to promote products and services.

DAILY AND WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete all assigned training relevant to the role.

  • Regularly visit customers, ensuring all customer rules are followed.

  • Handle customer inquiries and requests, addressing their needs promptly.

  • Lead and present technical and commercial proposals, including P&L reviews.

  • Lead kick-off meetings for tenders and upcoming projects.

  • Keep track of accounts, ensuring services are within budget and meet customer needs.

  • Coordinate with team members to identify areas for business improvement.

  • Regularly update revenue forecasts for accounts and share them with management.

  • Provide management with monthly updates, including highlights, lowlights, opportunities, and any ongoing contracts.

  • Identify and communicate upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to the sales team.

  • Arrange meetings for internal teams to engage with key customer contacts.

  • Support the billing process by liaising with customers to ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of sales experience, with 5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proficiency in sales fundamentals including prospecting, cold calling, negotiation, closing, conflict resolution, and reporting.

  • Strong commercial and market understanding, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cooperate across departments.

  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on relationship management.

  • Experience in preparing sales proposals, forecasts, and sales plans.

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills.
